Make Room! Make Room!

First line goes here.

Make Room! Make Room! (1966) by Harry Harrison is uncharacteristically bleak for an author best known for comic novels like The Stainless Steel Rat (1961) and Bill the Galactic Hero (1965).

Set in the last months of the 20th Century and ending on the Millenniium itself (a far less jolly affair than the real one) Make Room! Make Room! explores the theme of overpopulation.

It was filmed as Soylent Green.
