Hyperion Cantos

Written by Dan Simmons, the Hyperion Cantos were originally published as two novels, Hyperion (1989) and The Fall of Hyperion (1990); the title was later extended to incorporate two further novels, Endymion (1996) and The Rise of Endymion (1997), and the short stories ”Remembering Siri” (1983) and ”The Death of the Centaur” (1990), both of which appear in the collection Prayers to Broken Stones (1990), and ”Orphans of the Helix” (1999), which was puublished in the anthology Far Horizons (1999)
