The saga continues

The Empire Strikes Back (1980) was the first sequel to George Lucas‘s Star Wars (hereafter retitled Star Wars IV: A New Hope, 1977), and, in my opinion, the finest film of the Saga by far.

The film was directed by Irvin Kershner. The screenplay, by pulp sf writer Leigh Brackett and Lawrence Kasdan, was based on a story by Lucas.
